About The Position

IMC Electrical LLC offers a wide range of electrical installation services for private and public facilities with a large footprint in the Multifamily and Commercial markets. With headquarters located in Northeast Florida, our team provides cost-effective electrical solutions. We strive to deliver quality service and efficient solutions to our clients. We are seeking motivated Electricians for a four (4) month project assignment supporting a large-scale electrical construction project. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced commercial construction environment while working alongside experienced electricians and skilled trades professionals. Successful candidates will be dependable, safety-focused, and committed to helping deliver the project on schedule and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or repair; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship and valid electrician’s license preferred
  • Prior commercial electrical experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Install wiring, outlets, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures according to blueprints and technical diagrams
  • Set up electrical systems for new construction including panels, switches, and grounding systems
  • Perform excavation and install underground conduit systems, to include man holes, pull boxes, cabling, etc.
  • Inspect electrical systems, components, and wiring for hazards, defects, or compliance with codes
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning electrical equipment or systems
  • Replace outdated or faulty electrical components to meet current standards or client requirements
  • Upgrade systems to support new appliances, increased power loads, or energy-efficient technologies
  • Adhere to all electrical codes, regulations, and safety protocols
  • Ensure proper grounding and electrical safety measures are in place
  • Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and installations
  • Prepare reports and update blueprints or technical diagrams as necessary
