About The Position

This role combines electrical expertise with hands-on facility maintenance and emergency response. Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical systems, circuits, and equipment throughout GRHD facilities. Perform a variety of maintenance duties, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical repairs, equipment servicing, grounds maintenance, and vehicle preventative maintenance. Maintain and operate critical hospital plant equipment, including boilers, chillers, clinical air and vacuum systems, clinical gases, liquid oxygen systems, emergency generators, and fire alarm systems. Respond to facility emergencies and participate in rotating on-call coverage to ensure continuous operation and readiness. Collaborate with the HVAC Technician and Facilities team, including cross-training and supporting contracted labor when needed. Follow planned maintenance requirements, safety standards, regulatory requirements, and GRHD policies to provide a safe, comfortable, and sanitary environment for patients, residents, staff, and visitors. Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Current Colorado DORA Journeyman Electrician license
  • At least five years of electrical or related experience
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Current Colorado Driver’s License and clean MVR
  • Experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical repairs, basic HVAC systems, equipment servicing, and preventive maintenance.
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70, fire safety, lockout/tagout, arc flash, and other workplace safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems, prioritize multiple tasks, work effectively with others, and learn GRHD systems including Meditech, Kase, Trane BAS, HealthStream, Kronos, and Safety Data Sheets within six months of hire.

  • Experience with building automation systems and controls preferred

Benefits

  • Pay Range: $29.42- $42.02/hour (based on experience)
  • Shift Differentials: $2–$4/hour for nights and weekends, and other incentive pay available.
