About The Position

CDM Smith is seeking an Electrician to join their team. This role involves building raceways, pulling wire, and terminating electrical runs. The Electrician will also test and troubleshoot electrical systems, read blueprints and electrical diagrams, and gather necessary tools and materials. General paperwork, site cleanup, and other duties as required are also part of the role. This is a pipeline position for future needs.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Local certifications and licenses as required.
• 4 years of related experience.
• An appropriate and valid driver's license is required.
• Intermediate knowledge of electrical controls and distribution wiring.
• Intermediate ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Intermediate ability to use the various tools required for the trade.
• Basic writing and reading skills.
• Basic mathematics skills.

Nice To Haves

• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Builds raceways, pulls wire, terminates electrical runs.
• Tests and troubleshoots electrical systems.
• Reads blue prints and electrical diagrams to determine scope, layout, and requirements of the job.
• Gathers tools, materials, and equipment needed for scheduled assignments.
• Completes general paperwork as required.
• Performs general housekeeping and cleans work site when job completed.
• Performs other duties as required.
