About The Position

We are looking for a talented Electrician – Level II to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount, NC. In this role, you will make an impact by ensuring equipment availability through electrical maintenance and machine support, promoting safety by adhering to HSE standards, maintaining high-quality standards, supporting preventive maintenance, efficiently solving problems to reduce manufacturing constraints, participating in continuous improvement activities, communicating effectively with your team, and engaging in training and personal development to support business goals.

Requirements

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Must join our apprenticeship program and go to school.
Electrical technician will be responsible for PMs, maintaining and repairing equipment that range from the latest in technology to legacy equipment with some project and new installation activities.
Become competent and proficient in PLC logic and robotics if skillset has not already been acquired.
Operates in a multi-craft capacity, performs electrical and mechanical maintenance.

Education and formal training beyond high school diploma is not required but there is a requirement that the applicant must join our apprenticeship program and go to school.
