About The Position

We are seeking an Electrician Energy to join our Team in our Oak Ridge, TN office. Your role involves stopping work without fear of reprisal for unsafe conditions potentially affecting personnel safety or environmental risk. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain 480 volt and below electrical circuits, including distribution systems, motors, HVAC, controllers, and Balance of Plant. Additionally, you will work with control circuits (low-voltage DC, 4-20 mA current loops, digital circuits, fiber optic cable systems, process controllers, PLCs, etc.) and vital safety systems and alarm circuits (fire, security, radiation, criticality, process, emergency generators, etc.). The role includes performing routine industrial/commercial electrical maintenance such as re-lamping, periodic testing, and preventative maintenance. You will also perform electrical isolations and lockout/tagout of 480 volt and below electrical circuits. A key aspect of the role is supporting the execution of Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) guiding principles and core functions, and the Isotek Safety Culture. Maintaining training for Qualified Electrical Worker qualifications and conducting work in compliance with DOE Order 433.1C, Maintenance Management Program for DOE Nuclear Facilities is required. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma, or Equivalent.
Completion of Electrical Apprenticeship.
Minimum of 3 years of job-related experience.
Strong safety awareness, including NEPA 70E requirements and use of shock/arc flash PPE.
Knowledge of electrical installation requirements including current NEC requirements.
Familiarity with interpreting electrical drawings, red-lining as-built conditions, and performing walkdowns.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Basic communication, verbal, and written skills.
