About The Position

As a Field Electrician at Dynamic Ecohome, you are the face of our company and the technical authority on the ground. This role involves independent problem-solving for electrical and smart-system challenges in residential battery and energy storage installations. You will serve as a trusted technical guide for homeowners, explaining system functionality and maintaining job site standards. Ensuring every installation meets code requirements (NEC) and passes inspections is crucial. You will also help train junior electricians, master emerging clean-energy technologies, and participate in an on-call schedule for critical customer service calls.

Requirements

• Valid Texas Electrical License (Apprentice, Residential Wireman, Journeyman, or Master).
• Minimum 2 years of residential electrical experience preferred.
• Experience with residential battery systems, EV charging equipment, or whole-home generators is a strong plus.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean, safe driving record.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.

Nice To Haves

• Apprentice Electricians: Driven to learn the trade, build hands-on mastery with residential energy systems, and fast-track toward a Wireman or Journeyman license.
• Residential Wiremen: Focused on crew ownership, precise code compliance, clean job site execution, and direct customer interactions.
• Journeyman Electricians: Serving as lead technical authorities on site, liaison to city inspectors (AHJs), and mentors to junior crew members.
• Master Electricians: Leading field operations quality, handling complex system designs, and ensuring overall technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical and smart-system challenges across active residential battery and energy storage installations.
• Serve as a trusted technical guide for homeowners—explaining system functionality, answering questions, and maintaining pristine job site standards.
• Ensure every installation meets code requirements (NEC) and easily passes municipal building department and AHJ inspections on the first attempt.
• Help train junior electricians, master emerging clean-energy technologies (Sonnen, Tesla, EV chargers, generators), and continuously raise team standards.
• Participate in a rotated on-call schedule to support critical customer service calls when urgent needs arise.
