Now hiring a Maintenance Electrician with a focus on various tasks related to electrical systems and equipment, to improve available running time and performance. You will join the Maintenance Team, which includes other fitters and electricians, based in our Catawba, NC location where there is a chance to create a real impact being part of the installation team for “new to Catawba” machinery and equipment in NC!

Requirements

  • Fully qualified Electrician in NC
  • Experience as a Maintenance Electrician in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Electrical proficiency, being able to diagnose and tackle problems.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Systems or related fields
  • Associate's Degree in Electronics and or Electrical Engineering Technologies

Responsibilities

  • Assembling, installing, testing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing electrical components using hand and power tools.
  • Diagnosing malfunctions and testing electrical systems for accurate operation.
  • Inspecting equipment for hazards or defects.
  • Advising management on equipment operation.
  • Working at heights to install and repair electrical wiring and equipment.
  • Planning and performing installations while adhering to codes.
  • Preparing sketches and updating drawings for accurate records.
  • Pulling wires through conduits.
  • Constructing parts.
  • Dismantling and assembling equipment with precision.
  • Maintaining detailed records of breakdowns and repairs.
  • Collaborating with maintenance fitters.
  • Contributing to equipment modifications.
  • Working with external contractors when needed.
