About The Position

Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems, machinery, and controls in food processing environment.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of electricity, industrial automation, and high-voltage systems.
• Ability to quickly diagnose issues to minimize costly production downtime.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and manuals.
• 3+ years of industrial electrical experience and active Idaho electrical license.
• Ability to work with hand tools and power tools, often involving lifting and working in constrained spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical failures, and repair wiring, motors, and controllers.
• Install new machinery, electrical panels, conduit, and wiring systems based on blueprints and technical schematics.
• Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), VFDs, and motor control centers (MCCs).
• Ensure all work adheres to OSHA and NEC regulations to maintain a safe, compliant work environment.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and updated electrical schematics.
