About The Position

Spark Power is seeking an Electrician Apprentice in the Santa Teresa, New Mexico area, with the ability to travel as needed. The role involves installing electrical systems in accordance with current electrical codes and customer specifications, completing work safely and efficiently, and helping keep customers’ equipment and systems running. Electricians are expected to promote a positive company image through service quality, professionalism, and urgency.

Requirements

Two years of relevant electrical experience.
Solid knowledge of the State Electrical Code.
A valid state driver’s license and good driving record.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with coworkers and other contractors on site.
Superior problem-solving skills.
A commitment to completing quality work safely.
Experience liaising with customers professionally and effectively.
Ability to travel within and outside the state.

Nice To Haves

Experience with conduit runs from 1/2 to 2 inches, including EMT, GRC, PVC-coated (Ocal), and stainless steel.
Man lift experience.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety.
Install conduit and wire, and terminate conductors.
Troubleshoot circuitry and replace damaged components on industrial equipment and systems.
Install fixtures and devices for industrial applications and systems.
Maintain a clean work area.
Proactively prepare for upcoming work.
Interact with individuals at different levels within the company.
