About The Position

Spark Power is seeking an Electrician Apprentice in the Atlanta, Georgia area, with travel as needed. The role involves installing electrical systems according to current electrical codes and customer specifications, completing work safely and efficiently, and helping keep customers’ equipment and systems operational. Electricians are expected to represent the company positively through quality service, professionalism, and urgency.

Requirements

• 2 years of relevant electrical experience.
• Solid knowledge of the State Electrical Code.
• A valid state driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with coworkers and other contractors on site.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• A commitment to completing quality work safely.
• Experience liaising with customers professionally and effectively.
• Ability to travel within and outside the state.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with conduit runs from 1/2' to 2' (EMT, GRC, PVC Coated (Ocal), and S/S).
• Man lift experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety.
• Install conduit and wire, and terminate conductors.
• Troubleshoot circuitry and replace damaged components on industrial equipment and systems.
• Install fixtures and devices for industrial applications and systems.
• Keep the work area clean.
• Proactively prepare for upcoming work.
• Interact with individuals at different levels within the company.
