About The Position

The Electrician A serves as the lead electrical resource at the site, responsible for inspecting, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and programming industrial electrical and electronic systems. This position provides technical leadership for complex electrical work, supports system reliability and continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with all applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies. The Position also mentors junior electricians, assists with planning and scheduling, and collaborates with engineering, automation, and maintenance teams to support safe and efficient plant operations.

Requirements

  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs, and VFDs
  • Experience with high voltage systems
  • Familiarity with electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations (OSHA)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • Master Electrician license
  • Experience with specific automation software or hardware
  • Certifications in specific electrical or safety areas
