As an Electrical Vice President in our Restoration & Renewal Practice, you’ll take on a leadership role where your vision, expertise, and strategic insight shape the firm’s most ambitious renewal projects and initiatives. You’ll guide technical direction, mentor teams, and influence firm-wide practices and growth. This is a high-impact position for an engineer ready to leave a lasting mark on the industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
  • 15+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience in renovation or adaptive reuse projects.
  • Recognized expertise and thought leadership in electrical engineering, with the ability to influence firm-wide and industry practices.
  • Proven client leadership, with experience managing senior relationships, providing strategic guidance, and driving repeat business.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical vision for some of the firm’s most complex electrical system projects.
  • Serve as a trusted client advisor and primary point of contact.
  • Mentor and develop staff, foster technical excellence, collaboration, and leadership growth.
  • Drive business development and firm growth by leading proposals, pursuing new opportunities, and expanding Thornton Tomasetti’s influence in the market.
  • Shape firm strategy through thought leadership, advising senior leadership on emerging trends, new markets, and opportunities to expand services.
  • Oversee project financials, schedules, and quality, ensuring outcomes align with firm objectives and client expectations.
