About The Position

Eaton’s AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution division is currently seeking an Electrical Tester - 1st Shift to join our team in Torrance, CA! The core hours are 6 am - 2:30 pm. The hourly rate for this position is $30.96 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Requirements

Technical Degree/Certification and/or an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 1 year of electrical testing experience
Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).

Nice To Haves

Experience in electrical testing or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with power distribution units and related components.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in using testing equipment and software.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Conduct electrical testing on power distribution units to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
Perform diagnostic tests to identify and troubleshoot issues within the units.
Document test results and prepare detailed reports for review by engineering and quality assurance teams.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address and resolve any identified issues.
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist in the development and implementation of testing procedures and protocols.
