Requirements

  • Ability to work from job packet, production schedules, check lists, prints, instructions, procedures, and similar documentation.
  • Ability to evaluate assembly drawings, bills of material or prints to plan the steps of assembling and fabricating parts and units.
  • Ability to visually inspect parts provided for obvious defects.
  • Ability to fit, align, adjust, drill, cut off, and assemble purchased parts.
  • Ability to set robotic drill with prescribed tools and programs and operate as required.
  • Ability to fit and insert pins, screws, springs and other connecting and holding devices.
  • Ability to fasten in accordance with bills of material and production schedules.
  • Ability to report item shortages and stage kitted items.
  • Ability to select, count, weigh, and kit parts.
  • Ability to ensure proper operation of or completeness of finished work product and make required adjustments.
  • Ability to perform production work in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ability to maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Ability to consistently operate in keeping with all safety rules and requirements.
  • Ability to participate in meetings and work groups.
  • Pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties to process or prepare a limited range of components or subassemblies, where work is repetitive with some change in dimension and configuration, working within the limits of prescribed routines and making minor decisions.
  • Work from job packet, production schedules, check lists, prints, instructions, procedures, and similar documentation.
  • Evaluate assembly drawings, bills of material or prints to plan the steps of assembling and fabricating parts and units.
  • Visually inspect parts provided for obvious defects and communicate any discrepancies to Production Lead.
  • Fit, align, adjust, drill, cut off, and assemble purchased parts to produce a limited range of components in accordance with prescribed processes to produce subassemblies for air movement equipment.
  • Set robotic drill with prescribed tools and programs and operate as required to drill profiles.
  • Fit and insert pins, screws, springs and other connecting and holding devices.
  • Fasten in accordance with bills of material and production schedules.
  • Report item shortages and stage kitted items for movement to workstations.
  • Select, count, weigh, and kit parts.
  • Ensure proper operation of or completeness of finished work product and make required adjustments following prescribed procedures.
  • Perform production work in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure the work area is kept clean and orderly.
  • Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.
  • Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Consistently operate in keeping with all safety rules and requirements.
  • Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
