About The Position

This position is for an Electrical Tester within the Industrial Equipment Division, responsible for performing electrical tests on products and working collaboratively in a team environment. Key tasks include high voltage and final tests, troubleshooting, setting up and completing extended end-of-line tests, and product assembly, all while adhering to Miller safety procedures. The role requires an understanding and application of ITW operating principles in the manufacturing area, as well as the ability to train others. Requirements

  • Ability to work and communicate within a team environment
  • Must have an understanding ITW operating principles and apply them to the manufacturing area
  • Must be a self-starter, a team player, and be quality conscious with concern for the customer's needs and on-time delivery
  • Committed to teamwork and to the team goals, with a positive attitude who has made the choice to be personally accountable
  • Must be willing to work flexible shifts during peak production times
  • Must be willing to work overtime as required
  • Functional Tester: Must have completed the FVTC Functional Tester Course
  • Certificate Tester: Electronics Fundamentals Certificate from FVTC
  • Degreed Tester: Associate’s in Electronics, Electro-mechanical Technology, or any other related degree
  • Must be able to operate electrical test equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Performing electrical tests for the Industrial Equipment Division's products
  • Performing high voltage and final tests for all products
  • Troubleshooting
  • Set up and completing extended end of line test
  • Assembling products as needed
  • Complying with all Miller safety procedures
  • Rotating between primary job tasks or assisting with job tasks as needed
  • Understanding ITW operating principles and applying them to the manufacturing area
  • Training others
  • Cross training in all areas of manufacturing
