Electrical Test Engineer - Entry Level
About The Position
As an electrical engineer, you'll be part of a cross-functional team designing and developing test solutions for complex electronic subsystems, ensuring mission readiness through robust test interface development and verification activities. This role involves a strong foundation in electrical engineering processes, concepts, and test methodologies, with proficiency in electrical engineering concepts and test interface hardware design. The position also requires strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills, and the ability to be a team player who thrives in collaborative environments. Additionally, identifying opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation is encouraged.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Strong foundation in electrical engineering processes, concepts, and test methodologies.
- Proficient with electrical engineering concepts and test interface hardware design.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Team player who thrives in collaborative environments.
Nice To Haves
- Experience designing test interface hardware (UUTS, cable assemblies, custom fixtures).
- Background in self-test architecture and/or external interface testing.
- Proficiency in LabVIEW, Python, or similar test automation tools.
- Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
