Electrical Technician
About The Position
This role involves operating and maintaining at least one process, equipment, or system following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards. The technician will use their technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs. The position is a key part of changing how the world snacks, operating and maintaining equipment to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and morale targets. The technician will execute standard work processes using AM and PM standards, ensure safety processes are observed, and perform quality assurance activities. They will also identify and report losses in their area and equipment.
Requirements
- 480 volts - industrial electrical experience
- Programming
- Coding
- Ability to read blueprints
- Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
- HS diploma
- Manufacturing equipment experience
- PLC & VFD experience required
- Experience operating machines with coaching
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards for operating machines
- Reading and writing skills
- Fluently conversant in the language of communication as appropriate to the site
- Ability to collaborate well in a diverse work environment
Nice To Haves
- Mechatronics / Electrical / Industrial Engineer Preferred
