About The Position

Take the lead in driving high-impact manufacturing operations within our Production Innovation Center. This role oversees day-to-day operations while championing a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Lead safety efforts through DBO2 compliance and daily safety engagement while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient production center environment. Own production performance by tracking build progress, managing labor efficiency, and ensuring all work meets design specifications and quality standards. Plan and coordinate production across multiple build areas while effectively allocating manpower to meet both Innovation Center and job site demands. Support material flow from receiving through staging and delivery, partnering closely with logistics to ensure shipments are safe, secure, and on time. This role also plays a key part in developing talent by overseeing internship and workforce programs, while driving accountability, strong communication, and continuous improvement across operations.

  • Six Sigma or LEAN management experience.
  • Minimum of five years supervisory experience.
  • OSHA 30 Hour.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Monthly plant reviews with corporate.
  • Track monthly financials of the prefabrication center. Takes field calls and assists project supervisors/managers with cost saving prefab ideas.
  • Oversee design, layouts, and ordering of materials to effectively produce products to meet project schedules.
  • Accountable for on-site management/safety of assigned prefab construction projects and field personnel.
  • Initiate, attend, coordinate, and/or conduct meetings as required to meet the project objectives.
  • Apply general trade knowledge to electrical work both technically and procedurally.
  • Create and administer consistent methods of scheduling, delegation, and monitoring.
  • Monitor and communicate the overall progress on projects.
  • Work with project teams to best strategize resources and clear obstacles.
  • Oversee employee payroll and time allocation.
  • Create and implement the best practice for logistical plans on projects.
  • Ensure performance of safety audits.
  • Effectively communicate progress to customer and interpret & fulfill customer requests.
  • Monitor progress of assigned projects as well as subcontractors' estimated and actual status, field personnel alignment, scheduling, and payables and receivable balances in order to facilitate weekly action plans.
  • Manage the selection, development, measurement, motivation, and cooperation of the Prefab staff.
  • Take disciplinary action toward subordinates consistent with Company policies and procedures.
  • Use the Spectrum computer program for approval of invoices, billed job cost, reports, project history, and review of purchase order history.
  • Lead, motivate, coach, and develop assigned employees' technical skills by giving accurate and non-biased job performance appraisals.
  • Cultivate working relationships with managers, supervisors, and customer/clients encouraging a cooperative environment.
  • Document project/work situations, both written and verbally, in an accurate and timely manner to ensure the company a means of protection through proper documentation.
  • Maintain appropriate records, files, documentation, etc.
