Electrical Service Manager
About The Position

We are hiring for an Electrical Service Manager in Jonesboro, GA. This role requires someone with the knowledge and skill to successfully run and improve a residential electrical service department. The ideal candidate will have significant residential electrical service experience, excellent troubleshooting and training abilities, and a good understanding of the residential electrical service, sales, and install process. Responsibilities include running a service department, handling management-level tasks such as recruiting, training, coaching, and instructing electrical service technicians. The role also involves fielding technical phone calls, handling difficult customer situations, riding along with and training technicians on repairs, service, customer service, and sales. This position is well-suited for a senior technician or manager with strong technical and management skills.
Requirements
- Significant experience in RESIDENTIAL ELECTRICAL SERVICE.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical service and excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Live within 25 miles of Jonesboro, GA.
- Drug-free with a clean background and driving record.
- Be flexible, growth oriented and work well with others.
- Be excited and passionate about Electrical.
- Be willing to work Saturdays and off-hours as needed.
- Be willing to train and hire new team members.
- Have a prepared resume.

Responsibilities
- Run and improve a residential electrical service department.
- Recruit, train, coach, and instruct electrical service technicians.
- Field technical phone calls.
- Handle difficult customer situations and demanding customers.
- Ride along with and train new technicians.
- Teach technicians how to repair and service electrical systems.
- Train technicians on customer service and sales.
- Operate a first-class electrical service department.
- Multi-task and transition between field and office responsibilities.
- Attend training and classes.
- Support and participate in other duties as assigned.
