About The Position

Mister Sparky is expanding and seeking a high-energy, customer-focused Electrical Sales Specialist (Safety Advisor) to join their growing team. This role involves building rapport with homeowners, educating clients on electrical safety, and closing high-ticket residential solutions. The position offers warm leads, meaning no cold calling is required, as appointments are company-scheduled or turned over from qualified service technicians. The specialist will meet with homeowners needing options for panel upgrades, generator installs, or major rewires, backed by a nationally recognized brand.

Requirements

2+ years of successful in-home sales experience (residential trades, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, or electrical preferred).
Strong working knowledge of residential electrical systems (understanding of the trade is required, but not necessarily a licensed electrician).
Proven track record of closing high-ticket residential projects.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check.
Excellent presentation skills, clean appearance, and strong self-motivation.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough electrical safety evaluations and present clear, multi-option solutions to homeowners.
Sell panel upgrades, whole-home rewires, EV chargers, generator systems, and service enhancements.
Use ServiceTitan on an iPad to quickly build professional, visual estimate options and process orders on the spot.
Partner with service electricians on turnover calls to convert diagnostic visits into system upgrades.
Maintain strong relationships and follow up on pending proposals to maximize conversion rates.
