About The Position

MMR Constructors, Inc. is seeking experienced Electrical Quality Control Inspectors for a project in Spartanburg, SC. This role involves administering the Quality Management System (QMS), conducting jobsite audits, reviewing project documentation, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the construction process. The position requires a strong understanding of industrial and commercial electrical construction, with a focus on quality assurance and control. The inspector will be responsible for documenting inspection and testing activities, coordinating with clients and owners, and gathering records for project turnover.

Requirements

  • At least 8-10 years of industrial and/or commercial electrical constructor experience.
  • E&I quality experience.
  • Experience in industrial and heavy construction.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to coordinate a variety of projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and creativity.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible, varied hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Regular and reliable attendance at work.
  • Willingness to travel.

Nice To Haves

  • Data center experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Administer the Quality Management System (QMS) as outlined in the MMR PQP.
  • Identify quality problems and provide solutions.
  • Perform periodic project jobsite audits.
  • Review drawings, specifications, approved RFIs, and submittals for quality requirements.
  • Conduct and record MMR quality inspection and testing activities on appropriate Inspection and Test Reports.
  • Coordinate ITP audit, hold, monitor, and witness points with client, owner, engineer, etc., prior to inspection and/or testing activities.
  • Perform periodic project jobsite audits, surveillances, and gather supporting quality documentation.
  • Gather records for quality Turnover Package submission.
  • Attend required and refresher training related to company, vendor, and regulatory compliance.
  • Attend safety training as directed.
  • Comply with all safety and company rules and regulations.
  • Manage and oversee QC Inspectors.
