The QA/QC Electrical Inspector's main responsibility is to inspect, accept or reject work performed in the electrical discipline in compliance with applicable Codes and specifications. This role actively supports the Company’s commitment to safety and its “Core Values,” representing the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business and Ethics.” The inspector will review project specifications and work procedures to ensure inspection, testing, and procedural alignment with Client requirements, perform quality audits, and verify work activities against the approved Project Quality Plan. Regular updates on quality issues, witnessing and holding point inspections of approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and witnessing system tests in supplier shops and during pre-commissioning are key duties. The role involves reporting non-conformities, following up on corrective actions, and monitoring/surveilling cable and cable tray routing, installation, and terminations to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client specifications. Additionally, the inspector will monitor and verify EPC contractor work in electrical and instrument equipment installation, hook-up, loop checking, and functional testing, ensuring documentation is progressively compiled with acceptable quality. Daily surveillance reporting and weekly report submissions are required, along with providing technical advice in project meetings on quality/construction issues and performing additional assignments as directed by a supervisor.
