About The Position

GEA Group, located in York, PA, is searching for an Electrical Project Engineer - Control Systems, to join our Engineering Department! This role involves configuring programs for industrial refrigeration equipment, refining contract details, overseeing the creation of electrical contract drawings, writing manuals for configured control logic, and providing start-up support. The position also encourages sharing productivity enhancements with other Project Engineers.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of related experience REQUIRED.
• 5+ years of experience with HMI/SCADA and discrete logic REQUIRED.
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
• Experience/Exposure to the following: Allen-Bradley ControlLogix Standard Controllers, RSLogix™ 5000 programming software, AutoCAD, Ethernet/RS-485 communications, XML/VB/PLC/SCADA
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field highly preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial refrigeration, panel building, electrical drafting, PLC programming, and/or VBA scripting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure programs for control of industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Work to refine contract details.
• Oversee the creation of electrical contract drawings.
• Write manuals explaining the configured control logic.
• Provide start up support for executed contracts.
• Ability to share productivity enhancements found with other Project Engineers.
