About The Position
A to Z Machine is hiring a full-time, first-shift Electrical Mechanical Technician to support its shop, equipment, and facilities in Appleton, Wisconsin. The position involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs, building and repairing shop fixtures, handling basic facility needs, assisting with equipment and shop moves, and following quality and safety standards. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and work ethic.
- Ability to prioritize and work independently.
Nice To Haves
- CNC job shop experience.
- Forklift experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines and buildings.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace facility and shop equipment.
- Build and repair benches, tables, and shop fixtures.
- Handle basic facility needs, including lighting, plumbing, painting, and carpentry.
- Assist with equipment and shop moves.
- Follow 6S, ISO/quality, and safety standards.
- Support Electrical/Mechanical Technicians as needed.
