About The Position

Lanteris Space LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Intuitive Machines, is hiring a detail-oriented Electrical/Mechanical Technician to support the build of developmental prototype and non-flight production electronic and mechanical systems for spacecraft programs. This is a full-time, onsite role in the Palo Alto, California office. The technician performs complex, nonstandard assembly work and follows engineering documentation, work instructions, quality policies, and procedures. The role requires obtaining and maintaining NASA certifications and may involve occasional overtime during critical program periods.

Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Two years of relevant assembly or manufacturing experience.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Proficiency with hand and power tools used in electromechanical assembly.

Nice To Haves

Prior aerospace or spacecraft manufacturing experience.
Strong attention to detail and adherence to documented procedures.
Clean room or ESD-sensitive handling experience.

Responsibilities

Perform complex, nonstandard production assembly on developmental prototype and production electronic and mechanical systems and subsystems.
Work from diagrams, drawings, and wiring lists using hand and power tools.
Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test assemblies as required.
Complete all documentation related to work performed according to work instructions.
Obtain and maintain NASA certifications.
Read, understand, and adhere to procedures and policies with strong attention to detail.
Read, understand, and follow IM-West Quality policies and ISO 9001 directives.
Continuously monitor assembly processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
