This role involves assembling machines, equipment, and subassemblies by interpreting assembly drawings, written documentation, and verbal specifications. Requirements
- Associate’s degree from a two-year college or a minimum of one-year related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A strong working knowledge in the mechanical and electrical fields
- Knowledge to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Ability to take initiative and organize your own work independently
- Excellent organizational, planning, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment
- English required.

Responsibilities
- Interpret drawings and specifications to plan and complete mechanical assemblies.
- Follow generally accepted guidelines and wiring diagrams to route and connect wires for electrical systems.
- Utilize hand and power tools during the assembly process.
- Assemble components using a variety of fasteners.
- Bend, route and install flexible or rigid tubing for pneumatic systems following schematic drawings.
- Measure components for inspection and fit
- Apply problem solving and basic math skills as required.
- Test or assist testing operation of completed product.
- Additional duties as assigned.
