About The Position

Pillar Technologies, an Illinois Tool Works Company (ITW), is seeking an Electrical Mechanical Assembler for their location at 475 E Industrial Drive Hartland WI 53029. This role involves assembling machines, equipment, and subassemblies by interpreting assembly drawings, written documentation, and verbal specifications. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree from a two-year college or a minimum of one-year related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A strong working knowledge in the mechanical and electrical fields
  • Knowledge to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Ability to take initiative and organize your own work independently
  • Excellent organizational, planning, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment
  • English required.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret drawings and specifications to plan and complete mechanical assemblies.
  • Follow generally accepted guidelines and wiring diagrams to route and connect wires for electrical systems.
  • Utilize hand and power tools during the assembly process.
  • Assemble components using a variety of fasteners.
  • Bend, route and install flexible or rigid tubing for pneumatic systems following schematic drawings.
  • Measure components for inspection and fit
  • Apply problem solving and basic math skills as required.
  • Test or assist testing operation of completed product.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
