About The Position
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this hands-on role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment to help keep operations running efficiently. This position works with specialized machinery used in the production of high-performance glass products. Candidates should be comfortable working around heavy materials and sharp glass while following all safety procedures.
Requirements
- Experience performing electrical maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move heavy materials.
- Comfortable working around sharp and heavy glass products.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and lift throughout a full shift.
Nice To Haves
- Industrial electrician, maintenance technician, or related trade experience is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems on industrial production equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar experience preferred).
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Assist with mechanical maintenance and equipment repairs as needed.
- Respond quickly to production equipment issues to support continuous operations.
- Follow all company safety policies and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues effectively.
