About The Position

The Line Wirer wires electrical components and control panels for chillers used in data centers. The role ensures wiring is installed according to engineering schematics, quality standards, and safety regulations to support the efficient operation of cooling systems. This is an onsite position in Natural Bridge Station, Virginia, on the third shift, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Pay is $24.23 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in electrical wiring, panel assembly, or a similar manufacturing role.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Skill in using hand tools and power tools for electrical installations.
Basic understanding of electrical safety procedures and troubleshooting.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

Install, route, and connect panels, motors, sensors, and other system components.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
Perform wiring terminations, including crimping, stripping, and soldering as required.
Inspect and test electrical connections for accuracy, functionality, and safety compliance.
Follow safety protocols, including proper handling of electrical components and tools.
Ensure compliance with company manufacturing standards, industry regulations, and best practices.
Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as multimeters.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions or wiring issues to the maintenance team.
Work with production team members, engineers, and supervisors to meet daily manufacturing targets.
Communicate effectively regarding material needs, work progress, and potential issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
