About The Position

Walsh Electrical Services is hiring Electrical Leads for commercial electrical projects across Middle Tennessee, including retail spaces, restaurants, offices, schools, and healthcare facilities. Under the supervision of an Electrical Foreman or Field Supervisor, the Lead carries out the project plan, directs the day-to-day work of a crew typically consisting of one to four electricians and apprentices, keeps work on schedule, and serves as the on-site contact for the general contractor’s superintendent. Foremen oversee multiple projects and make critical job-site decisions; Leads handle routine field decisions and escalate issues when appropriate. The role calls for strong commercial electrical knowledge, leadership, planning, professional communication, and ownership of assigned projects. Leads are expected to uphold quality, safety, and productivity standards, anticipate material and labor needs, and remain composed in a fast-paced environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with overtime when needed and weekend work when a project requires it. Projects are located within one hour of downtown Nashville. Walsh Electrical Services describes its mission as delivering high-quality electrical services with integrity, professionalism, reliability, and exceptional customer satisfaction. The company aims to provide a safe, productive, and supportive workplace where employees can grow. It maintains a drug-free workplace and is committed to inclusive hiring and equal opportunity.
