About The Position

Congruex designs and builds digital infrastructure across the nation, providing engineering, construction, and specialty solutions. The Electrical Journeyman’s primary skillset is accurately installing conduit. The role also involves reading and following blueprints, installing electrical equipment and devices, pulling wire, troubleshooting problems, and following applicable state and local building regulations and the National Electric Code.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of related commercial experience.
• Ability to understand blueprints or technical diagrams to determine the location of circuits, outlets, and other equipment.
• Proficiency in layout and installation.
• Experience with hydraulic benders, including the ability to work with larger conduit sizes.

Responsibilities

• Accurately install conduit.
• Read and follow blueprints during construction.
• Measure, bend, cut, thread, ream, assemble, and install rigid and EMT conduit.
• Install and terminate panels, switchgear, transfer switches, transformers, and related equipment.
• Set up and pull wire according to blueprints.
• Install devices and light fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and fix problems as they arise.
• Follow state and local building regulations and the National Electric Code during installation.
