Then we’d like to meet you and bet you’d like to meet us. Ashland has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical, Instrumentation and Mechanical Maintenance Planner to join our Ashland, Inc. (ISP Technologies, Inc.) business at our Texas City, Texas plant. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the maintenance function. This position will report to the Maintenance and Reliability Manager. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Develops detailed job plans for electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical maintenance activities, including scope, labor, materials, tools, and permits. Plans and schedules preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance work using site’s computerized maintenance management system, (e.g., Maximo). Reviews work requests to ensure work orders are properly scoped, prioritized, and ready for execution. Coordinates with Maintenance Supervisors, Operations, and Engineering to align schedules to minimize equipment downtime. Prepares and maintains weekly and daily maintenance schedules for I&E technical and mechanical work. Identifies required spare parts and materials, verifies availability, and coordinates procurement as needed. Supports maintenance execution during shutdowns, turnarounds, commissioning, and start‑up activities. Ensures all maintenance plans comply with safety, environmental, and quality requirements. Maintains accurate job plans, equipment history, and maintenance records within the maintenance database system. Plans then coordinate maintenance activities for rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, gearboxes, agitators, and mixers. Develops job plans for mechanical maintenance activities such as alignment, balancing, lubrication, seal replacement, and bearing inspections. Supports troubleshooting of mechanical and rotating equipment failures to reduce recurring issues and downtime. Coordinates condition monitoring activities such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, and thermography. Interfaces with mechanical contractors, vibration vendors, and OEMs for specialized repairs and inspections. Supports mechanical work execution during turnarounds and major maintenance events. Actively contributes to the organizational goals by taking initiative, executing goals and focusing on performance and safety. Improves the organization capacity and capabilities through building collaborative relationships, optimizing diverse talent and utilizing positive communications and influence with others
