The Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer will supervise and provide technical direction to electrical and instrumentation maintenance personnel, inspecting and evaluating their work performance. Key responsibilities include developing, prioritizing, and executing maintenance activities, providing engineering support for electrical systems and instrumentation, and delivering hands-on troubleshooting and technical training. The role also involves specifying and managing the procurement of electrical components, overseeing the maintenance of large rotating machinery and electrical equipment, and managing electrical maintenance projects and contractors. The engineer will implement and support a comprehensive preventive maintenance program, ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements, and collaborate with leadership. Additionally, the position requires mentoring junior electricians, conducting safety and environmental inspections, coordinating new equipment installations, assisting with budget monitoring, and managing external contractors.
