About The Position

Leitner-Poma is seeking a skilled level III Electrical Installation Technician to join their team and play a crucial role in the installation and commissioning of cutting-edge ropeway transportation systems. The role involves installing vital electrical systems for ropeway transportation projects across North America, including EMT bending, cable pulling, and conductor termination. Higher-level technicians will develop innovative processes and procedures and provide mentorship and guidance.

Requirements

Journeyperson Electrician Certification
At least 3-5 years of electrical construction and installation experience, including AC & DC drives and PLC controls (Allen Bradley and ABB).
Bachelor’s degree in electronics, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
Ability to travel domestically & internationally as needed, with a valid driver’s license.
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, and at elevations in excess of 10,000 feet.
Authorized to work in the United States of America.
Ability to obtain work authorization in Canada.
Proficient in the English language.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience operating equipment such as an all-terrain forklift.
5 or more years of electrical construction and installation experience, including AC & DC drives and PLC controls (Allen Bradley and ABB).
Authorized to work in Canada.
Master Electrician Certification.

Responsibilities

Installing vital electrical systems for ropeway transportation projects.
Performing EMT bending, cable pulling, and conductor termination from control wires to motor leads.
Developing innovative processes & procedures for their teams.
Providing mentorship & guidance to team members.
