About The Position

JOIN OUR TALENTED TEAM OF ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION TECHNICIANS Are you passionate about electrical systems and looking to elevate your career in a dynamic and innovative environment? Leitner-Poma is seeking a skilled level III Electrical Installation Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in the installation and commissioning of cutting-edge ropeway transportation systems. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Your role as an Electrical Installation Technician will take you across all of North America, installing vital electrical systems for our ropeway transportation projects. You’ll showcase your technical skills through hands-on work in EMT bending, cable pulling, and conductor termination from control wires to motor leads. Take advantage of the opportunity to work with an experienced team that values innovation, precision, safety, and excellence. Higher level Technicians will be at the forefront of developing innovative processes & procedures for their teams, as well as providing mentorship & guidance.

Requirements

  • Journeyperson Electrician Certification
  • At least 3-5 years of electrical construction and installation experience, including AC & DC drives and PLC controls (Allen Bradley and ABB).
  • Bachelor’s degree in electronics, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Ability to travel domestically & internationally as needed, with a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, and at elevations in excess of 10,000 feet.
  • Authorized to work in the United States of America.
  • Ability to obtain work authorization in Canada.
  • Proficient in the English language.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience operating equipment such as an all-terrain forklift.
  • 5 or more years of electrical construction and installation experience, including AC & DC drives and PLC controls (Allen Bradley and ABB).
  • Authorized to work in Canada.
  • Master Electrician Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Installing vital electrical systems for ropeway transportation projects across North America.
  • Performing EMT bending, cable pulling, and conductor termination from control wires to motor leads.
  • Developing innovative processes & procedures for teams.
  • Providing mentorship & guidance to team members.
