About The Position
C2O Americas is seeking an experienced Electrical General Foreman to support electrical construction activities on a large-scale project in Austin, Texas. The General Foreman will provide field leadership and oversight of electrical crews while coordinating manpower, materials, equipment, safety, quality, and daily work activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive industrial or large-scale commercial electrical construction experience with a proven ability to lead multiple crews and foremen while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Extensive electrical construction experience with previous experience as an Electrical General Foreman or senior electrical field supervisor.
- Demonstrated experience supervising multiple electrical crews and Foremen.
- Strong knowledge of industrial and/or large-scale commercial electrical systems and installation practices.
- Experience with conduit, cable tray, electrical cabling, switchgear, power distribution equipment, and electrical equipment installations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, schematics, and project specifications.
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction safety practices and LOTO requirements.
- Current OSHA certification required.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively coordinate manpower and prioritize work in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project management and other construction disciplines.
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting large industrial, manufacturing, data center, or other complex construction projects.
- Previous experience managing multiple electrical crews and large craft workforces.
- Electrical Journeyman license or equivalent electrical field experience preferred.
- Experience with commissioning, startup, or turnover activities is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall field leadership for electrical construction activities.
- Supervise and coordinate Electrical Foremen, Journeymen, Apprentices, and other craft personnel.
- Plan daily and weekly work activities based on project priorities, schedules, and available manpower.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to maintain efficient field operations.
- Oversee installation of conduit, cable tray, electrical cabling, power distribution systems, switchgear, panels, and associated electrical equipment.
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, schematics, and one-line diagrams.
- Monitor crew productivity, work progress, and quality to ensure project requirements and schedules are achieved.
- Coordinate with project management, supervision, engineering, safety, quality, and other trades.
- Identify field issues and assist with resolving construction conflicts and installation challenges.
- Conduct pre-task planning and ensure crews understand daily work assignments and safety requirements.
- Enforce company and project safety procedures, including LOTO and electrical safe-work practices.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
- Ensure completed work meets applicable codes, project specifications, and quality standards.
