About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman for commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead a team of electricians and apprentices, meet or exceed project schedules, read and update drawings and schematics, and troubleshoot electrical problems. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years running commercial electrical projects successfully.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Commercial Construction Electrician.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights, work in small spaces.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance, repair of electrical systems, and equipment.
- Must pass a drug test, background check, driving record check, and physical fitness test.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Passion for helping others. Present a professional, positive, and helpful attitude at all times.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of electricians and apprentices.
- Meet or exceed project schedules.
- Read and update drawings and schematics.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems.
- Run conduit, wiring, hook-up disconnects, switches, push buttons, circuit panels, breakers, suppressors, and transformers.
