About The Position

The Electrical Field Leadership Trainer plays a critical role in developing the next generation of field leaders within the organization. This position leverages deep knowledge of electrical installation practices to coach, mentor, and train field supervisors, foremen, and emerging leaders. The trainer may need to help with installations (“wear the tools”) to ensure that leadership teams are equipped with the technical understanding, safety awareness, and management skills necessary to lead successful field operations. Reporting to the Construction Executive, the Electrical Field Leadership Trainer is accountable for the development of the next generation of field leaders within the organization. This position leverages deep knowledge of electrical installation practices to coach, mentor, and train field supervisors, foremen, and emerging leaders.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in electrical installation, preferably in commercial or industrial settings.
  • Proven ability to train, mentor, or lead field teams.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and construction workflows.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or training role

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician (or equivalent).
  • OSHA 30 Certification.
  • NCCER or other recognized training credentials.

  • Enhance Field Technical Competency (20%) - Enhanced Field Technical Competency develops the ability to accurately interpret plans and specifications, apply proper installation techniques, use tools and materials effectively, and ensure work meets safety, quality, and code standards.
  • Process Discipline (20%) - Verifying alignment between drawings, specs, and field installation
  • Continuous Learning and Safety Culture (20%) - On-site coaching and feedback loops foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
