About The Position
Syska Hennessy Group is seeking Electrical Engineering Summer Interns to join their New York, NY office. Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Electrical engineering
- Must have completed at least your second year of study
- Basic knowledge in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite
Nice To Haves
- Previous engineering internship or co-op experience
- Knowledge in the latest version of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT
- EIT/FE required (for full-time employment upon graduation)
Responsibilities
- Assist engineers in preparing design documentation
- Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Electrical systems
- Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Electrical systems
- Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe
- Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions
