As an Electrical Engineering Intern at Collins Aerospace, you will assist Senior Electrical Engineers in the design, development, support and documentation associated with both digital and analog circuitry. You will lean in to the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills of all phases of electrical hardware design, including requirements capture, design, layout, test/verification, integration, factory transition, and factory support. You will do analog and digital electronics design and testing. You will work on component analysis and troubleshooting of electronic circuitry.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship
  • Must have a minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with of digital circuit design parameters (e.g., throughput, rise time, clock frequencies, propagation delay).
  • Experience working with computer hardware components (e.g., processors, memory, interfaces), and characteristics (throughput, processing architecture, timing).

Responsibilities

  • Assist Senior Electrical Engineers in the design, development, support and documentation associated with both digital and analog circuitry.
  • Expand your knowledge and skills of all phases of electrical hardware design, including requirements capture, design, layout, test/verification, integration, factory transition, and factory support.
  • Perform analog and digital electronics design and testing.
  • Work on component analysis and troubleshooting of electronic circuitry.
  • Be provided with access to Collin’s Aerospace communities of practice for learning and networking opportunities.
  • Be exposed to cutting-edge technology and have the ability to significantly contribute to the creation of our newest products.
  • Perform activities that span all phases of the hardware development lifecycle, including requirements capture, design, integration, verification, factory transition, and customer interface.
