Your Opportunity As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will support project teams in the planning, design, and execution of electrical systems across a variety of projects. This role offers hands-on experience and exposure to both office and field environments.

Requirements

Actively enrolled (sophomore, junior, or senior) in an Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology program
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings and complex documents
Proficiency with computers and technical software
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Growth oriented, Trustworthy, Responsive, Works hard, smart, & safe, Builds a positive team & family spirit, and are Enthusiastic & energetic

Responsibilities

Assist in the development, design, and coordination of electrical engineering projects
Develop feasible design alternatives and evaluate key parameters
Identify and analyze principal electrical design features and assess potential solutions
Support the preparation of plans, specifications, reports, schedules, and cost estimates
Produce and revise electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts in accordance with project standards
Review and analyze field data, notes, and calculations
Research electrical codes, standards, specifications, and materials
Expand knowledge of electrical equipment, systems, and industry practices
Participate in professional development and training opportunities
Gain field experience by observing project sites and construction activities
