About The Position

HDR is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. The intern will gain real-world experience on projects, apply standard engineering techniques and procedures, and perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager. The role may occasionally involve travel to project sites to investigate existing conditions or conduct project inspections. The intern will also connect with recent graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs and perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Commitment to being an active participant in HDR's employee-owned culture.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably have completed two years toward a degree and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to the field of study or industry.
• Local candidates preferred.
• Enrollment in an electrical engineering program.
