About The Position

A multidisciplinary team is hiring an Electrical Engineering Director to lead its growing Grand Rapids team. The director will lead electrical design for public and private development projects, help recruit and develop the team, support business development, and ensure quality standards are met. The role involves project and client interviews, collaboration with in-house teams, and meetings with clients, authorities having jurisdiction, and other professionals. Salary is commensurate with experience. Applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• 12 or more years of electrical design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience in a leadership role.
• Experience designing multiple types of buildings, including architectural and industrial buildings.
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Broad experience in power, lighting, fire alarm, and voice/data design.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Experience on healthcare projects.

Responsibilities
