About The Position

A multidisciplinary team is hiring an Electrical Engineering Director for its growing Detroit team. The Director will lead the electrical team in designing public and private development projects, help recruit team members, and assist with business development. The role includes participating in project and client interviews, collaborating with other in-house teams, and attending meetings with clients, authorities having jurisdiction, and other professionals. The Director will also review designs prepared by others to ensure quality assurance and quality control standards are met.

Salary is commensurate with experience. Applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship. Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• 12+ years of electrical design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience in a leadership role.
• Experience designing multiple types of buildings, including architectural and industrial buildings.
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Broad experience in power, lighting, fire alarm, and voice/data design.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Experience on healthcare projects preferred.
