About The Position

This is a role well suited for a highly motivated student looking to build their skill set and gain hands-on experience. As an Electrical Engineering Co-op, you will be responsible for development of low complexity printed circuit board assemblies, FPGA designs, and test fixtures. You will also be responsible for the development of test firmware/scripts for automated testing of assemblies, and the development of engineering tools, databases, websites, and hardware infrastructure needed to support the engineering environment. Additionally, you will perform integration testing of new hardware/software releases with thorough documentation of test results and written report summary, creation of defect reports and verification of fixes, and calibration and field return analysis.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program, majoring in Electrical Engineering (rising senior preferred)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred)
  • Registered and eligible to participate in a co-op through your university
  • Completed courses in core electrical engineering concepts
  • Good PC skills (MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
  • Willing to learn about new software and hardware solutions
  • Willingness to learn new tools and skills related to circuit design, PCB development, FPGA programming and other design methods
