Requirements

  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
  • Revit knowledge is a plus
  • Familiarity with BIM coordination workflows and tools like Autodesk Construction Cloud and Navisworks.
  • Organizational and time-management abilities

Responsibilities

  • Works well in a team environment and is willing to learn from others.
  • Experience with Revit is an essential part of this role.
  • Work as part of a project team to develop the project documents for large-scale, complex building projects.
  • Corroborate/coordinate with other design team members including Architect, Mechanical, Plumbing or Structural engineers to ensure electrical systems are integrated and coordinated with the project’s goals.
  • Serve as design engineer on a variety of projects from new construction to renovations from schematic design to construction.
  • Project types include but are not limited to office buildings, labs, data centers, academic, high rise residential, hotels, health care, industrial, financial, government.
  • Be familiar with associated Codes and Standards applicable to the project.
  • Responsible for the design of power distribution, lighting, emergency and standby power supply in accordance with all applicable NEC codes and standards.
