About The Position

TSP is a fast-paced, full-service design firm that successfully integrates architecture, engineering, interior design, and planning. Since 1930, TSP has been discovering facility design solutions that truly match the vision and mission of our clients. As a Professional Engineer on our team, you will perform electrical calculations and prepare construction documents for a wide variety of challenging projects. You should have a strong knowledge of electrical theory, lighting design, power system design, and telecommunication and other low voltage systems design. You must have a good understanding of, and the ability to read and interpret electrical calculations and construction drawings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET Accredited University
• Minimum of 4 years of electrical design experience
• Registered as a Professional Engineer

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare and/or Education project experience is preferred
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, and AGI32 is preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop full construction documents (drawing and specifications) for complex electrical systems and renovation projects
• Perform site observations for lighting, power, and low voltage systems
• Write clear and concise reports
• Assist in the training and professional development of EITs
• Effectively communicate within TSP's multidisciplinary system of architects & engineers along with building owners, property managers, and contractors
• Keep updated on applicable engineering codes, standards, and regulations
• Champion TSP
