About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience with electrical design and power distribution in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in Altium Designer for PCB layout and schematic capture.
  • Hands-on experience with LabVIEW for electrical testing and automation.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with advanced protective relay coordination and settings.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as IEEE, NEC, and NEMA.
  • Knowledge of automation and control systems.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems and components, including power distribution networks and control circuits, tailored for manufacturing applications.
  • Create detailed PCB layouts and electrical schematics using Altium Designer to support product development.
  • Utilize LabVIEW for testing, automation, and data acquisition to validate electrical designs and ensure system performance.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments related to electrical design and power distribution systems.
  • Document design processes, test results, and maintenance procedures to maintain comprehensive technical records.
