About The Position

Coffman Engineers is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer with 0-3 years of experience for its Guam location. The successful individual should be comfortable consulting to architectural practices and have a desire to work on a multi-discipline engineering team. This role involves performing daily project status updates to senior engineers or project managers, working independently with proper engineering oversight, and collaborating in larger project teams. The position also requires researching applicable codes such as the National Electrical Code and International Building Code, performing site investigations, and willingness to travel.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 0-3 years of experience with electrical design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Registration as an E.I.T.
  • Strong passion or previous experience in the AEC (architectural, engineering and construction) industry
  • Power, lighting, communications design, and layouts utilizing Revit and/or AutoCAD knowledge
  • Awareness of or experience with load calculations, branch circuiting, voltage drop, short circuit calculations and photometric calculations
  • Exposure to power system analysis software such as SKM, etap, etc.

Responsibilities
