About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing and developing large-scale electrical systems and machinery for manufacturing, power generation, and transmission. You will oversee the testing, installation, and maintenance of electrical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Collaboration with vendors, contractors, engineers, and maintenance teams is crucial to meet design and operational standards. You will utilize computer-aided design (CAD) tools and engineering software for system design refinement and partner with planning and design teams to optimize equipment for efficient, high-quality production. Evaluating equipment proposals, recommending improvements, and leading engineering teams in building test equipment and developing testing procedures are key responsibilities. Additionally, you will monitor installations, recommend design changes for reliability, and use data to forecast equipment capabilities for long-term manufacturing goals.

Requirements

  • A strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and techniques.
  • Experience with CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate across teams.
  • A proactive mindset focused on innovation, efficiency, and safety.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET) from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering roles, preferably in manufacturing, power systems, or related industries.
  • A strong foundation in both theory and practical application of electrical systems, controls, and automation.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, technical environments.

Responsibilities

  • Create and improve large-scale electrical systems and machinery used in manufacturing, power generation, and transmission.
  • Oversee the testing, installation, and maintenance of electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Work closely with vendors, contractors, engineers, and maintenance teams to ensure systems meet design and operational standards.
  • Leverage computer-aided design (CAD) tools and engineering software to develop and refine system designs.
  • Partner with planning and design teams to ensure equipment and tooling support efficient, high-quality production.
  • Analyze equipment proposals, specifications, and manuals to assess feasibility and recommend improvements.
  • Direct engineering teams in building test equipment and developing procedures for system testing and validation.
  • Monitor installations and recommend design changes to prevent malfunctions and improve system reliability.
  • Use data and statistical methods to forecast equipment capabilities and support long-term manufacturing goals.
