The Electrical Engineer will contribute to the release of new products; will work in a cross-functional development group; provide support and leadership to other engineers; manage a variety of tasks and activities in a dynamic environment; and solve complex problems where no precedence exists. This role involves designing new computer room air conditioning (CRAC) products and collaborating across various engineering disciplines, as well as with production and offering teams. The engineer will perform calculations, select components, design electrical layouts, and develop 2D and 3D CAD designs for electro-mechanical assemblies and wire harnesses. Responsibilities also include developing bills of material (BOM) and product definitions, implementing product changes, and working with the software team to develop and verify CRAC system controls. Extended responsibilities include supporting lab facilities and manufacturing, participating in DFM and DFMEAs, and identifying cost reduction opportunities.
